"Mere, thankyou for letting us stay at this fabulous house, it surpassed all our expectations! We have come to escape the worst of Otagos winter chill, and have discovered a true paradise. Not only is Aitutaki stunningly beautiful, but the people here are a true credit to the island. Warm and generous, caring and kind. Little Ally cut her foot on coral at Samade, and the hospital were marvellous at cleaning the cut. A few days out of the sea, it healed well and allowed us to get out on the lagoon on our final day with Captain Puna. What a delight. Everyone should try and spend the day with him and his great team (Sunday is best!) Fabulous birthday dinner at Aitutaki Lagoon Resort, great value, great food and ambiance. Island night at Tamanu on Thursday - Brilliant. Snorkel at the end of the runway everyday before 3pm, then it gets too shallow. Every morning going down to build a sandcastle and not seeing a soul on the entire beach, magic. We are so sad to be leaving, especially as it was -6 degrees back in Glenorchy last night! But we take away bronzed bodies, 1000 photos, and the warmth of magical island memories. We will be back. Ka kite, The Aitkens of Aitutaki."

"Amuri Beach House is the perfect place to stay if travelling to Aitutaki. We stayed there whilst Honeymooning in Aitutaki and had an absolute ball.  The House itself was extremely lovely. Very spacious, private and situated in an idyllic location.  We would wake up each morning to the beautiful view of the lagoon which could be seen from our bed.
 
Only a few steps from the house was the crystal clear waters of the lagoon, where we would take a dip & laze by the waters. Fantastic snorkeling for those who wish for a little more adventure. A short bike ride to the main areas of Aitutaki makes Amuri Beach House the perfect location for just about anything.  Our hosts were very lovely people who were happy to assist us with anything during our stay.

We are already planning our next trip back & highly recommend Amuri Beach House to anyone wishing to stay on the beautiful island of Aitutaki".
